Anthony Clarke is a multidisciplinary designer and creative director with a background in motion graphics, broadcast design, and visual storytelling. After years working inside fast-moving media and commercial design environments, Clarke founded ACAE as a response to the increasing disposability of fashion and identity in contemporary culture.
ACAE was created as a future-facing clothing brand built around intention, symbolism, and evolution—where clothing functions as signal rather than trend. Drawing inspiration from cyber-human aesthetics, ancient myth, and modern rebellion, Clarke approaches fashion as a visual language rather than a seasonal product.
Through the framework of Awakening, Ascension, and Arrival, ACAE explores what it means to dress for who we are becoming, not who we’ve been. The brand positions itself beyond fast fashion, focusing instead on presence, refinement, and long-term cultural relevance.
ACAE started with a feeling I couldn’t ignore.
I’ve spent years inside visual culture — motion, design, broadcast, branding — watching trends rise and disappear faster than they could mean anything. Everything became louder, faster, emptier.
At some point, I realized the problem wasn’t fashion.
It was identity.
We were dressing to fit systems that no longer represented who we were becoming.
AWAKENING
ACAE began as an awakening — the understanding that clothing is not decoration. It’s a signal. A declaration of where you stand in time.
I wanted to create pieces that felt intentional. Grounded. Charged. Clothing that didn’t ask for attention, but commanded presence.
ASCENSION
Ascension is the work.
